We seek a meticulous and proactive Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations, managing patient appointments, and providing excellent client service. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to handle administrative tasks and client interactions professionally. Key Responsibilities:
Diary Management:
Coordinate and manage appointment schedules effectively for our optometrists and dispensers. Client Interaction:
Address client inquiries, manage expectations, and provide exceptional customer service. Administrative Tasks:
Perform general administrative duties such as data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records. Communication:
Maintain excellent email and phone etiquette in all professional communications. Workload Management:
Prioritize tasks and manage a varied workload efficiently. Taking Payments:
Assist with taking payments, deposits and claiming processes for Medicare and Private Health Insurance.
General Skills Required:
Attention to Detail:
High accuracy in tasks and documentation. Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar administrative or reception role. Optical experience would be advantageous to this role but is not essential. Teamwork & Independence:
Capability to work both independently and collaboratively. Workload Prioritisation:
Proficiency in managing tasks and prioritizing responsibilities.
