Medical Receptionist

About the role We are looking for a bright and friendly, experienced medical receptionist to join the team in our new clinic in Unley as of January 2025 on a part time basis, with a view to full time as the practice grows. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.
About us Yates Physiotherapy is a well-established physiotherapy practice with a big focus on team culture. We currently operate across three locations: within the Living Choice Lifestyle Villages at Fullarton and Woodcroft and within the Glengowrie Medical Complex. In addition to this, our Unley clinic will be opening in the new year.
What you'll be doing Giving our clients an amazing experience when they walk through the doorHandling patient enquiries and booking requests via phone, email and in-personScheduling and managing patient appointments Processing payments including HICAPS, DVA and Medicare EPC claims and issuing invoicesMaintaining accurate and up-to-date patient recordsAssisting with marketing/social mediaMaintaining clinic presentationTaking monthly meeting minutesOther general administration dutiesOrganising staff social eventsWhat we're looking for Previous experience in a medical/healthcare administrative roleProficiency in using practice management software, preferably Cliniko, and preferable experience in processing HICAPS, DVA and Medicare EPC claimsExperience in marketing/social media preferred but not essential Confident, enthusiastic and personable mannerExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesExceptional attention to detail, communication and problem-solving skills
