Mon – Thu 9am to 5pm, Fri 9am to 2pm.
At Bendigo Sleep Lab, we aim to help people achieve their best night's sleep. Our small, evolving team prioritizes collaboration and client care.
General Purpose of Position:

Provide high-quality reception and secretarial services to patients, doctors, and staff.
Maintain confidentiality of all information.
Work closely with the Director to provide administrative support.
Provide initial instruction and ongoing support to clients.
Liaise with medical practitioners to report on patient progress and treatment.
Prepare portable sleep study monitoring equipment.
Calibrate and maintain equipment used in sleep studies.

Role and Responsibilities:

Data acquisition with attention to detail.
Maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Organizing and maintaining calendars and making appointments.
Initiation of patients for CPAP hire equipment.
Provide support and follow-up for clients.
Perform CPAP mask fittings and patient education sessions.
Maintain clinical records and provide reports to medical practitioners.
Provide expertise for retail purchase of CPAP therapy products.
Advise and sell other sleep-related therapies and products.
Answer telephone inquiries and schedule appointments.
Handle cash and invoicing for retail sales accurately.
Liaise with CPAP manufacturers and suppliers.
Contribute to a team dedicated to excellent service.

Essential Requirements:

Ideal for Sleep/CPAP technicians.
Willingness to learn new skills.
Sales and customer service experience.
Skills in MS Office applications and calendar management.
Ability to show initiative and provide effective administrative support.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks within deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Flexibility in task performance.
Typing speed of 60 wpm minimum.
Current Victorian driver's license.
Proof of immunizations to infectious diseases.
Current First Aid Certificate & police check.
Enthusiastic attitude.

Desirable Requirements:

Clinical experience (e.g., science degree, nursing, or related field).
Knowledge and practical experience in ventilation and/or sleep.
