About the role Working in a busy fast-paced practice, the medical receptionist will provide support to the administration team.
Duties include:
Answering phones & data entry
Managing email correspondence
General reception duties (booking appointments, scanning, billing Medicare / DVA / Workcover)
Theatre list preparation (scheduling surgeries, equipment booking, sending of lists)
Sending specialist letters
Scheduling emergency/ADHOC theatre for emergency cases (within usual working hours only)
Assisting other reception staff as required
The successful applicant must have: Exceptional communication skillsA positive can-do attitudeA high level of patient focusOutstanding organisation and multitasking skillsAbility to work autonomously without supervisionAbility to work across two sites (Ashford + once a week for clinic at Elizabeth Vale)Availability to work occasional Saturday mornings in rotation with other staff Current driver's license and carGenie software knowledge an advantage Why work for us?
