Next Generation Occupational Medicine is seeking a Medical Practitioner who enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team and is interested in Occupational Medicine.
We have six sessions available working across our two sites at Rose Park and Salisbury.
You will provide medical services in a variety of occupational medicine areas including acute injury consultations, pre-employment medicals, monitoring and statutory assessments as well as facilitating client specific return to work requirements, with mild to complex work-related injuries both physical and psychological.
Our multidisciplinary team includes Occupational Physicians, Physiotherapists and Exercise Physiologists as well as our Medical Administration staff.
You will also work with Adelaide's top Medical Specialists who make up our Second Opinion Medicine group comprising of Neurosurgeons, Psychiatrists, Neurologist, Rheumatologist and Orthopaedic Surgeons.

In 2013, Next Generation Occupational Medicine (NGOM) was founded because we believed that there had to be a better approach to occupational health where healthcare providers, employers and insurers can work together to help workers return home to their families safe from harm, both physical and psychological.
In the event of an injury, we believe that all workers should have access to the best medical care.
In 2016, Next Generation Specialist Support was formed.
It comprised of 15 specialist doctors from various disciplines, providing Second Opinion Medicine services to assist GPs, employers and insurers in clinical management of their injured workers.
In 2017 NGOM began offering a full suite of occupational health services.
Since then, we have serviced over 500 South Australian and National clients including Australia's largest integrated services, aged care, banking, steel and retail providers.
Skills and Experience To be considered for this position you must be an APHRA registered General Practitioner or RMO 1 or more with no restrictions.
Your strong communication skills are imperative as you work with the NGOM multidisciplinary team as well as the Return to Work environment.
A working background in occupational medicine or exposure to the Return to Work SA environment would be highly advantageous.
The successful candidate will possess a current Drivers Licence and be able to commute to both Rose Park and Salisbury.
The successful candidate must provide a current Police Check.
