Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service are seeking a Medical Oncology Research Fellow (Cancer Care Services) to join our Medical Oncology Service for a period of twelve months. The successful applicant will work at an intermediary level between the Advanced Trainee Registrars and Consultants in the service, with a focus in areas of research and clinical trials.

Job duration: Temporary FT for 12 mths, commencing February 2025
The successful candidate will need to be able to work in the clinic unsupervised and will need to hold a FRACP, or soon to be awarded.
Key Responsibilities include: Provide outpatient and inpatient Medical Oncology services at a level intermediary between the Advanced Trainees and Consultants.Assist the Clinical trials team in the review and co-ordination of patients on or being considered for clinical trials.Assist the Consultant staff in the supervision and Education of junior medical staff within the Medical Oncology team.Salary rates: $6,334.30 - $6,980.10 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (L10 - L13) (Fixed Term Temporary Full-time up to 12 months, 76 hrs p.f.). Applications will remain current for 12 months.
