ABOUT THE ROLE
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mammographer to work in the Warrnambool SJOG Hospital.
Responsibilities include:
Perform high level Mammography independently in accordance with prescribed professional and clinical standards within the multidisciplinary team setting. This service is provided with infrequent supervision.
Participate in screening mammography and diagnostic mammography.
Regularly participate in interventional diagnostic breast imaging as well as assessment clinics at the BreastScreen service, performing advanced level procedures.
Provide a role in competency training, skill development and clinical supervision to less experienced Mammographers, ensuring maintenance of professional standards and adherence to IDX policies and procedures as well as BreastScreen policies and procedures.
Implementation of quality assurance activities to continually improve patient/client care including analysing QA data and strategies to address issues.

ABOUT YOU
Qualifications in Medical Imaging (Bachelor of Science or equivalent).
Current licencing and registrations; this includes registration with APHRA and professional indemnity insurance.
Extensive experience and competency in diagnostic breast imaging, screening mammography and assessment procedures.
A willingness to participate in further education and continued professional development programs.
Highly developed interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
Minimum of 2 years' experience is preferred.
