Medical Imaging Manager

The role of the Manager, Medical Imaging is responsible for leading and managing complex and system-wide initiatives related to the Medical Imaging Central Support Unit and networked medical imaging functions across Hospital and Health Services. The role leads system model design, including service delivery, system functions, and governance.

The successful person will have demonstrated: Ability to build and strengthen partnerships across the health system, working collaboratively within a complex multi-disciplinary environment.Ability to identify, scale, spread, and adapt best practice and innovative models of care at a regional and/or state-wide level.Well-developed strategic, conceptual, and critical thinking capability relevant to a range of Medical Imaging and system areas and a proven track record in designing and implementing culturally appropriate and evidence-based solutions to complex problems.Strong analysis and evaluation skills, measuring initiatives for their achievements against identified outcomes, benefits returned, and insights reporting.Knowledge and application of contemporary health service planning, design, and project management methodologies. Queensland Public Health & Scientific Services (QPHaSS) operates as a system leader to bring together key system support functions to promote health, prevent disease, and manage public health risks in Queensland. This includes statewide surveillance, planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of services and programs that prevent or control health-related diseases, hazards, and harmful practices and enhance protective health factors to promote the overall health and wellbeing of Queenslanders.
