About the role: Aurenne Group Mining is currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Medical Emergency Service Officer (MESO) to join the team at our Mount Ida Gold Project. Reporting to the OHS Superintendent, you will provide the highest possible standard of emergency response and pre-hospital care, adhering to treatment procedures, accurately completing documentation and applying the correct operational procedure in response to the situation presented to you. Additionally, you will support the Safety Superintendent with various tasks across the health and safety management on site.
Key tasks: Provision of medical treatment as defined by treatment protocols and maintain confidential medical recordsMaintain the site's medical clinic facilities, vehicles, and equipmentEquipment preparedness including inspections and reportsProvide 24/7 on-call support in the case of after-hours emergenciesConduct regular inspections on the site medical facilities, ensuring they are stocked and well maintainedSupport daily management of site medical centreSupport emergency response team where relevantSupport the management of poison permit and liaison with external emergency authoritiesAssist with approval of pre-employment medicalsSupport injury management and workers compensation case managementUpdate and implement Emergency Evacuation Plans for each area of the site (as required)Facilitate emergency evacuation drills for the site as per the scheduleRequirements & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years in a similar role in MiningCert IV Health Care or higherCert III in Emergency Response and RescueAdvance Life Support - Or willing to obtainCurrent "C" or "HR-B" Western Australian LicenceStrong leadership skills with a proactive attitude and commitment to safetyAbility to cannulate a patientBenefits of joining Aurenne Group: Access to free employee assistance programAccess to salary packaging optionsAccess to benefits through SWAGShort-Term and Long-Term IncentivesShort commute to siteBrand new camp facilitiesIn-house catering staffIf this sounds like you or someone you know, we encourage you to apply at the link above.
