Summary: The Medical Director will provide clinical and managerial leadership to medical staff, oversee medical services, and ensure that clinical practices are in line with organisational policies and procedures. They will be responsible for developing and implementing clinical programs to improve patient care outcomes and quality.
Responsibilities: Oversee medical services and ensure they meet established clinical standards, policies, and procedures.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the delivery of patient care services.Evaluate and implement new clinical programs, policies, and procedures.Monitor clinical outcomes and ensure they meet established quality standards.Develop relationships with clinicians and other healthcare providers to enhance collaboration and teamwork.Stay informed of new medical technologies, treatments, and healthcare trends.Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes.Conduct regular performance evaluations of clinical staff.Identify opportunities to improve patient care outcomes and quality.Manage relationships with external stakeholders.Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.Completion of an accredited residency program.Board certification in a medical specialty.Minimum of 5 years of clinical practice experience.Previous managerial experience in a healthcare setting.Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.Strong leadership and communication skills.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and other healthcare providers.Strong understanding of patient care and medical treatment protocols.Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
