Medical Affairs Manager, Pacific This role will be responsible for the development and execution of medical plans and associated HCP engagement initiatives enabling the sustained growth of our Pacific Cluster business, as well as Kenvue's Essential Health business across the wider APAC region. This position is part of the Medical & Safety Sciences APAC team and is based in Sydney, Australia. The role reports into the Head of Medical & Safety Sciences, Essential Health with dotted line reporting to the Head of Regulatory Affairs, Pacific. Operating with an end-to-end mindset, you will provide medical expert insights and robust risk-benefit management enabling the growth of Kenvue through partnership across local and regional partners.

Role reports to: Head of Medical & Safety Sciences, Essential Health APAC
Location: Sydney, Australia
Travel: up to 20%
What You Will Do: Lead Medical Affairs for Pacific This role will focus on leading the medical strategies aligned with the business objectives across the Self Care (OTC) and Personal Care business in ANZ, maximizing the value of our brands with consumers, patients, and relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs).
Key responsibilities include:
Leverage medico-scientific expertise, clinical insights, and external knowledge to drive HCP recommendation and support projects with tangible business impact.Build and maintain a trusted panel of local experts that can deliver industry-leading, highly relevant scientific content to engage and educate HCPs.Develop and review communication materials and content, bringing in scientific insights to relevant communication tools and support dissemination for public health / consumer education.Proactively engage and maintain relationships with KOLs, Medical Associations, Universities, Hospitals, and Research institutions at a local and regional level to drive Kenvue's scientific thought-leadership, credibility, trust, and advocacy for the science behind our brands.Provide medical expert insights and robust risk-benefit management working in close partnership with local commercial partners, regional MSS segment colleagues, and the wider cross-functional teams.Development and delivery of medical brand plans covering evidence-generation, educational program design, and execution, key professional and consumer scientific communications, and KOL engagement in line with brand strategies.Provide medical and scientific input into the creation of HCP detailers, claims, and educational materials in compliance with regulatory standards.Lead collaborations with relevant local medical associations and support local teams engaging professional/government bodies, including HCP conferences and Advisory Board meetings.Enable activation of new medico-scientific content for amplification with KOLs/HCPs/Health Authorities/Customers and Consumers.Conduct regular training sessions to educate internal employees on the science of our products.Partner with local Commercial and Functional teams, as well as regional R&D teams to support the activation of new claims, scientific communications, and demos.Support commercial events including live demos, Q&A sessions, and PR engagements to share our science with consumers and customers.Ensure local medical enquiries from internal and external customers are responded to in a timely fashion with high quality and in accordance with internal policy and external legislation.Effective cross-functional collaboration on scientific engagement, thought-leadership, evidence-generation, and medical education.Regional Medical Affairs – Essential Health: This role will have a dual focus leveraging clinical insights and external knowledge to drive HCP recommendations maximizing the value of our brands with consumers, patients, and relevant healthcare professionals (HCPs) for our Baby portfolio across APAC.
Key responsibilities include:
Proactively engage and maintain relationships with KOLs, Medical Associations, Universities, Hospitals, and Research institutions at a local and regional level.Accountable for managing budget, timings, and executional delivery as aligned with the medical strategy.Build and maintain a trusted panel of regional experts that can deliver industry-leading, highly relevant scientific content to engage and educate HCPs.What We Are Looking For: Required Qualifications: Pharmacist, Biological sciences PhD, or Physician.5+ years industry-relevant experience supporting both innovation and life cycle management projects.Prior experience in Medical Affairs within the Consumer Healthcare industry preferred.Ability to simplify complex medical information for various audiences.Proven track record of driving HCP engagement and KOL advocacy.Experience of developing and administering internal technical training programs.Strong science communicator with the ability to communicate science to a wide variety of audiences.Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams with outstanding communication and people agility skills.Strategic thinking and ability to contribute to business planning.Good project, budget, and time-management skills.Strong personal leadership skills and business acumen.What's In It For You: Benefits include Flexible Working, Health and Wellness Reimbursement, Volunteering Days, and much more!Kenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
