This is a full time, Monday – Friday role, and your main duties will be managing patient billing, processing patient payments and insurance claims, and maintaining accurate financial records.The successful candidate will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service to patients both via the phone and email as well as be confident to liaise with Medicare. You will be supported within the role by a friendly and supportive team and will report into the Patient Billing Team Leader.Who we're looking forYou'll have proven experience (min 12 months) working within a similar role within a hospital settingYou'll hold a certificate in medical billing and coding (highly desirable)You'll have a proven track record of working with insurance providers and resolving billing disputes or claims denialsYou'll have the ability to provide high quality customer service and be an exceptional communicator both verbally and via emailYou'll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.You'll have full Australian working rights and the ability to work a full time Mon-Fri role.About UsAdventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
