And the ANZ Media Lead will be a key part of the journey to next generation brand building.
This person will be a crucial partner in realizing our ambition to put the needs of pet parents at the heart of our connected communications strategy and to build meaningful personalization at scale with greater efficiency and effectiveness.
What are we looking for?
7 years minimum experience in data-driven marketing and digital media.
Expert in omni-channel media strategy, planning & buying, with degree qualification or equivalent digital education?.
Performance marketing, including biddable, search and retail media experience is essential – alongside a proven track record in executing media, ideally across multiple brands and countries with a range of global and local senior stakeholders.
Line Management Experience is preferred,?as the role will have one direct report.

What will be your key responsibilities?
Media Planning and Strategy : Translate global media frameworks to contextualise for ANZ.
You will be the owner of the annual briefing process (integrated communications planning) for ANZ and be responsible for tracking and guiding the spend of the media budget across Australia and New Zealand.
Media Effectiveness : Define and roll out scalable solutions, best practices and frequent learnings to advance Mars Pet Nutrition ANZ media efforts across integrated full funnel brand campaigns.
Agency Management : Alongside the Director you will own the strategic media agency partnership and be accountable for excellent deployment of the market's integrated full funnel brand media plans from briefing to execution.
Data Activation: In partnership with the Digital Acceleration lead, you'll ensure the creation of comprehensive data activation plans and build strong Retail Media relationships with the Connected Commerce and Shopper Marketing teams to leverage the data targeting and conversion opportunities.
Capability Building : As part of a central team responsible for transformation change management, you will continually share best practice and optimize ways of working to deliver our digital-first strategy, recommending tools, resources and infrastructure to succeed.
