Founded and based in Hobart, TWS is Tasmania's largest locally operated injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation provider. Our experienced team of allied health professionals specialize in both injury management and injury prevention, and provide services in all locations across the state.
Your opportunity
Our team is growing, and we have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated Psychologist / Rehabilitation Counsellor who thrives on variety to join our experienced team.
This full-time opportunity will see you delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and allied health background, you will be an integral part of assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community, improving their wellbeing and purpose in life.
Day to day, you will undertake:
Early intervention and psychological worksite assessments. Medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison and case management services. Rehabilitation, motivational and vocational counselling. Vocational assessments. Minimum Requirements:
Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency) OR Full/associate membership with ASORC/RCAA. Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (Highly desired but not essential ). A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work. Excellent communication and time management skills. A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done. Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance. Current driver's license and vehicle. What we offer
