In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day, supported by a strong team of healthcare professionals.
You will provide occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological, supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Your duties will include: Case management with manageable caseloads supported by Rehabilitation Assistants.Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.Collaborating with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.Working with injured workers, employers, medical, and allied health professionals.Assisting those with injuries or health conditions to achieve recovery and return to work outcomes.Completing assessments using clinical skills, including initial, workplace, and vocational assessments.Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.General or Provisional registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Psychologist or eligibility for Associate or Full membership with Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC) or Rehabilitation Counselling Association of Australia (RCAA).Previous experience in the Occupational Rehabilitation industry is highly regarded.Excellent communication skills.Compassion, kindness, and empathy.Well-developed time management skills.A current NSW Driver's License and access to a car with comprehensive insurance.Our core values are at the heart of our work:
