Collar Talent Group Pty (Administrators Appointed) Our client is a leading renewable energy operator at Lilyvale Solar farm dedicated to sustainable energy solutions and a brighter future. The client is looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to carry out a wide range Mechanical activities and maintenance tasks within the plant.This hands-on role involves a variety of mechanical activities and maintenance tasks within our solar plant. You'll be working outdoors, engaging in physical activities, and demonstrating flexibility. Responsibilities include forklift duties and potentially replacing tracker motors.RESPONSIBILITIES: The candidate will be expected to carry out a wide range mechanical activities in support of the operation and maintenance tasks within the plant. This position will be accountable for:Carry out predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance related to the mechanical systems of the plant.Maintain, calibrate, align, troubleshoot and repair plant mechanical systems.Perform regular inspections and checks to monitor performance of mechanical assets.Preparation, tracking, closing and recording of maintenance work orders.Liaise with manufacturers, contractors and suppliers on technical aspects of the job.Skills & ExperienceExperience in mechanical maintenance activities (required).Minimum 2 years' experience in similar roles (required).Mechanical trade certificate (required).High risk work license (desirable).Experience with mechanical systems used in solar farms (trackers, module cleaning).Relocation support is provided for the right candidate.Other benefits include:22 days annual leave Birthday leaveOptional Spanish lessonsAll tools providedEmployee Assistance program (inc. counselling, financial, legal, lifestyle assist services and more)A supportive and inclusive culture with over 18 nationalitiesAPPLY NOW:Ready to make a difference in renewable energy?
