The Role Due to our continued growth/success, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our Operations team and support our projects in QLD. This opportunity will be FIFO, with either a 3/1 or 2/1 roster with Brisbane as the point of hire.
Key Responsibilities and Duties: Coordinate, manage and organise all site activities of site staff, sub-contractors, trades and suppliers.Complete Quality Assurance checks throughout all stages of the construction period.Read and interpret plans and drawings.Organise and supervise the ordering, delivery and checking of materials, supplies and equipment required for site.Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or delays.Communicate effectively with clients and internal staff members and give accurate updates on job project status.Ensure that all project documentation is completed and submitted in a timely manner, from commencement of build to handover.Maintain up-to-date schedules, ensuring all suppliers and contractors complete their works within the projected build times without compromising quality.Demonstrate a commitment to onsite safety by ensuring compliance with MFG's safety policies and procedures.About You The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
10+ years' experience in a construction/mechanical supervisory role.Previous experience with project management software.Experience in Solar Farm construction and civil works highly desirable.Knowledge of and compliance with Workplace Health & Safety & BCA Requirements.Strong supervisory and people management skills.Be willing to work a 3/1 or 2/1 roster with Brisbane as point of hire.How to Apply If this sounds like you, then please submit your application, including detailed resume and covering letter, via the Apply button.
