Mechanical Fitter (Shift And Day Work) - Proserpine Mill

About The Position

We are currently accepting applications for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Proserpine Mill.
We have both a permanent Day Work position and a Shift position available.
The Shift position involves shift work during the production season and day work during the maintenance season.
This is a permanent position, with some overtime and weekend work required.


Main duties include but are not limited to: Undertaking preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs on a variety of equipment (from pumps, crushing mills to turbines).Conducting safe quality of work.Identifying potential improvements to work practices and conditions.Supporting improvement projects that aim to reduce unplanned stoppages.Mentoring of apprentices as required.Maintaining and improving OH&S and overall operational standards in the workplace.Essential Criteria: Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting) or equivalent.Previous Heavy Industrial work history highly regarded.The reward
