We have an opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join the Fixed Plant Surface Maintenance team at George Fisher Mine. Reporting to the Fixed Plant Mechanical supervisor, you will work effectively both as part of a team and independently, in both surface and underground settings, within a dynamic and challenging environment.
This position is a residential role in Mount Isa and requires you to work a 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 days off roster, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.
Your key responsibilities include:

Maintenance and repair of fixed plant equipment.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Collaborating with team members to achieve maintenance goals.

The successful applicants will have:

Relevant qualifications and experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team and independently.
