We are an Australian owned company and we are proud to be the oldest working sugar mill in Australia! As you can imagine, we have a range of equipment, and no two days are ever the same.
About Sunshine Sugar We are identified as one of the largest agricultural and manufacturing sectors in the region, employing over 350 people directly and a further 2500 indirectly to support the local industry. The region, known for its stunning beaches, rivers, fishing, and natural wonders extends across seven shires including Tweed, Byron Bay, Ballina, and the Clarence Valley. Harwood is situated on the Clarence River near the coastal and historical port town of Yamba.
We are looking for Trade qualifications (Certificate III and Certificate of Proficiency)Heavy Industrial/Shutdown experienceProven exposure to working on a wide range of equipment, pumps, valves, pipelines, motors, gearboxes, boilers, and turbinesAbility to fabricate small & large componentsExperience with pressure vessels preferred but not essentialMachine maintenance and troubleshooting experienceAbility to communicate in a clear and constructive manner both verbally and in writingOrganisational skills and ability to prioritiseCommitment and good attitude to safety and cultureTeamwork and willingness to co-operatively share knowledge and expertiseHow to apply To be considered, please upload a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role along with your resume.
