Eilbeck Cranes is a 100% Australian owned family business and Australia's leading overhead crane and hoist manufacturing company, operating for 117 years. We specialise in the design, manufacture, and installation of all types of overhead cranes, hoists, and winches, along with servicing. We are seeking to employ a Mechanical Fitter to join our Moss Vale, NSW operations. Duties will include maintenance and repair of overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
Responsibilities: Perform repair work to cranes, installations of cranes, hoists, and materials handling equipment in a professional and tradesman-like manner.Fit fabricated metal parts into products and assemble metal parts and sub-assemblies to produce machines and equipment.Check fabricated and assembled metal parts for accuracy, clearance, and fit using precision measuring instruments.Minimum Requirements: Mechanical TradePrevious experience within the Crane industryAbility to work with minimal supervisionAbility to manage multiple tasksEffective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilityMust be well organized and show effective time management skillsMust have a current manual Driver's LicenseMust be safety conscious and promote a safe environmentMust be available to work overtime and travel to remote sites when requiredSound mechanical aptitudeThis is a great opportunity to join a dynamic company focused on growth and development with opportunities in leadership.
