Mechanical Fitter

Mining - Engineering & Maintenance (Mining, Resources & Energy) Workfast are currently looking for a Mechanical Fitter in Brisbane, QLD. This is an ongoing position starting off on a casual basis with a view of permanent employment after the probation period.
Our client is a well-known organisation with operations in 25 countries and does business in over 140 countries. Their landmark facilities are Innovation and Design Centres, which are located around the globe.
Responsibilities: Service and rebuild of industrial gear boxes for agitators General construction duties Assisting the team in the warehouse where necessary Perform repetitive and physically demanding duties Complete ad hoc duties as assigned by the site supervisor Requirements: Minimum Australia Trade Certificate III in engineering - Mechanical trade (fitting/machining) White card Ability to complete police checks, drug and alcohol and medical Current Driver's Licence Confined Space Ticket (preferred) Working at Heights Ticket (preferred) Observe OH&S standards Great attitude, reliable and proactive personality Workfast is a labour hire company working with some of Australia's largest and leading building companies.
