The Role Our Malanda dairy site located in tropical North Queensland, manufacturing and distributing a range of milk and milk-based products, made with fresh milk sourced direct from over 40 farms within minutes from the factory. The site currently produces around 40 million litres of product every year – operating 24 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Responsibilities Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and systems for emergency repairs and carry out preventive maintenance and inspections. Improve workforce productivity by eliminating potential delays by technical support and fault finding of mechanical issues. Coaching and supervising operational persons and contractors on shift. Active participation in delivering small to medium scale projects. Maintain high standards in relation to Safe Work Practices. About you Cert III Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitting/Machining) with industrial experience. Broad knowledge of industrial plants and equipment such as lathe and milling machines. Process improvement skills and strategic problem-solving skills. Strong technical focus, with an ability to learn and apply new concepts and continuously improve.
