Mechanical Fitter

About the role:  We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join our Marleston manufacturing plant.
This role will report directly to the Maintenance Coordinator and will be responsible for repairs and maintenance to high volume food manufacturing and packaging equipment.

What your day looks like:  Carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance on all machinery and conveyors.
Working in compliance with quality and safety systems Recording maintenance carried out and corrective work in the CMMS Trouble shooting on varied high-speed manufacturing equipment The Ingredients for Success Ability to work a 12-hour shift roster (7 shifts per fortnight) on day shift.
Demonstrated commitment to Occupational Health and Safety practices.
Experience in welding and fabrication would be adventageous  Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, team orientation, and achievement drive.
