Role Overview: The Maintenance Operative performs timely maintenance and small repair works, ensuring tasks are completed to client and management standards without defects and adhering to safety protocols.
About the Person: The ideal candidate has trade qualifications or experience, relevant licenses and certifications, strong maintenance skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities: Provide quality planned and reactive maintenance services to clients.
Attend to breakdown works during normal business hours.
Work according to Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS).
Complete task documentation including timesheets, purchase orders, and client sign-offs.
Report all safety issues, incidents, accidents, or near hits.
Conduct hazard identification and risk assessment.
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of company vehicle.
Care for and maintain company plant and equipment.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience: Trade qualifications or previous trade experience.
White Card and current Driver's License.
Ability to hold a Working with Children Check.
Police Clearance.
Strong problem-solving and maintenance skills.
