Your opportunity to join our team As a Mechanical Apprentice, you will be directly involved in providing support to the Maintenance team whilst actively working towards gaining your mechanical engineering certificate. Installing and replacing parts and equipment within the plant Assisting the wider team with preventative maintenance of equipment and machinery Responding to emergency breakdowns in the plant and assist with resolving mechanical issues as they arise Inputting required job information into the Maximo system Ensuring assigned jobs are closed correctly in Maximo and relevant notes have been added You will bring to this role Mechanical aptitude – demonstration of mechanical interest to develop. Computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office. The ability to work under pressure and have excellent problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
