About the role Thiess Mount Arthur South have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team in the capacity of Rebuilds Leading Hand. Located just outside of Muswellbrook, this position provides a great opportunity for you to expand your skills and grow with in a high performing team.
As our next Rebuilds Leading Hand, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results.
Workinga Monday to Friday 10.5hr DAYSHIFT ONLY roster ,reporting to the Workshop Maintenance Supervisor you will be part of a team that is committed to developing our people.
Aggregated rate between $57.32 to $59.79. Your responsibilities will include:
Lead a maintenance crew following directives of managers and supervisors. Coach and mentor crew members to safely and efficiently execute maintenance tasks. Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, and computer-based systems. Assist crews to effectively meet daily safety, equipment reliability and maintenance compliance to plan targets for the project. Provide technical information to staff and operations personnel. Source and requisition parts and / or equipment requirements through the appropriate manuals or publications using the correct ordering procedure. Verify the implementation of solutions and/or control further non-conforming machinery until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
