About the Role: DRA are actively seeking Expression of Interest for Mechanical Engineers– All Levels to join our core team in the Perth CBD. With a strong pipeline of projects, we are looking for innovative and motivated individuals who thrive in a solutions focused environment.
Key duties: Design calculations and equipment selection for various applications including bulk materials handling systems, slurry & hydraulic systems, mechanical platework etc.Assisting with the creation, implementation and maintenance of project specific procedures, work practices, plans and protocols to improve efficiency including Scopes of Work, Specifications, Datasheets and Technical Evaluation of Tender Submissions.Review Vendor documentation and facilitate incorporation into project designs with specific reference to ensuring constructability, operability and maintainability.Ensuring compliance with the project specific requirements and current industry work codes and standards.Execute project delivery within schedule, budget and quality criteria with a strong focus on safety.Pro-actively work to identify risks, both project and technical, and take appropriate action to ensure successful project outcomes.Willingness to attend site for short to medium term construction support, commissioning and/or operational support roles as required.To succeed in this role you will have: Bachelor of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.Experience with base metals, rare earth minerals and mineral processing in a design and construct environment.Experience in Materials Handling and plant front end, slurry, water and solutions pumping and pipeline design.Understanding of relevant Australian and industry codes and standards.Strong deliverable focus and ability to plan the work.Innovative thinker with the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to meet strict deadlines.A good attitude, team focus and willingness to learn.Valid rights to work in Australia - Essential.We welcome applicants who may not meet all criteria but possess the right qualifications to apply, as we value diverse perspectives and recognize the potential for growth and development within our dynamic team.
