In return, we reward those who passionately work with us towards our vision.About the RoleWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 2+ years experience to join the Ahrens Design & Estimating Team, within our Grain Storage and Processing division. Based at our Murrarie, Qld office, you will provide support through product design & review, resolving technical issues, leading QA processes and improving product design & documentation to enable the timely and efficient manufacturing of our products and delivery of our projects.Key ResponsibilitiesUndertake Product Engineering & Design.Design & revise engineering CAD models & drawings.Coordinate with Design & Estimating team and Project teams on a daily basis.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.Lead QA process through inspection, investigation and reporting.Maintain engineering and production related documentation, such as procedures, work methods, costing, parts library and Bills of Materials.Create and update spare parts and operator's manuals.Support and liaise with the management team on various tasks/projects.Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering or similar.RPEng or equivalent registration (desirable)Sound technical skills including production of technical drawings and documentation.Ability to analyse and interpret technical data, drawings, and specifications to inform decision-making and problem-solving.Relevant experience within the manufacturing industry or production environment.Proficient in Microsoft Systems3D CAD Experience.
