The Mechanical engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the mechanical systems and equipment used in milk production, processing, and packaging operate efficiently and reliably. Here are the key roles and responsibilities:You Will Be Responsible ForRegularly inspect, maintain, and repair machinery, such as milking machines, pasteurizers, cooling systems, and conveyor belts.Oversee the installation of new machinery and ensure it is set up according to specifications.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to procure necessary parts and equipment.Implement automation and control systems to optimize operations.Monitor energy usage and implement energy-saving measures, such as optimizing refrigeration and heating systems.Work with quality control teams to adhere to industry standards and regulations.Conduct regular safety inspections and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.Maintain records of equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
