Mechanical Designer

I am partnering with a global leader in the mining, equipment, technology and services industry (METS). This company manufactures heavy automated mobile machinery, which is used for large scale exploration projects across the world. We are actively recruiting for a Mechanical Designer. This person would be responsible for the design and drafting solutions of the heavy automated mobile machinery. As the Mechanical Designer you would be required to: Generate designs and fabrication drawings for the fabrication of mining equipment and products using CAD 3D modelling and FEA software (SOLIDWORKS) Document and perform design checks on drawings to relevant Australian Standards Format well- written engineering reports and supporting documents Provide support to all sections of production team Liaison with supplies and clients Desired Qualifications and Experience Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 2 - 3 + years in a similar role (Preferred) Experience with AutoCAD design (SolidWorks) Experience in designing equipment and machinery for the mining industry To Apply: Please send your CV by clicking the 'Apply Now' button below.
