Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Designer to join our team in our Brisbane office.
This role would suit someone with a mining and minerals background or a demonstrated background in the design process, Bulk Materials Handling Design, and Process Plant design. The purpose of this position is to work on design and perform 3D layout to support the Project Team.
About the role Prepare layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements. Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards, preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements. Ensure that objectives related to quality, quantity, cost and scheduling are met. Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards. Comply with all of Ausenco corporate policies and procedures by adopting Ausenco Quality Assurance and Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment policies, procedures and requirements. About you Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable 8-12+ years progressive experience in Bulk Materials Handling design drafting and plant layout experience with crushing, grinding, materials handling, flotation, CIL/CIP, slurry agitation, particle size classification and separation would also be highly regarded Experience with AutoCAD, Advance Steel, SmartPlant3D experience is desirable.
