We're looking for skilled mechanics and trades assistants to be part of our respected workshop. We'll match your skills to the right role, whether you're an experienced professional or just starting out.
You'll work with leading brands like Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Mack, and UD Trucks—some of Australia's top transport names.
Your future teamThis role will be based at our Volvo Commercial Vehicles Gold Coast dealership in Carrara, which forms part of the larger Volvo Group Australia umbrella. Reporting to the Workshop Manager, the team of 23 workshop staff are made up of Mechanics, Auto-Electricians, Apprentices, Service Advisors and Costing Clerks. Mechanical qualification with experience in a commercial environment (for Mechanic roles only)Experience as a mechanical Trades Assistant in a commercial environment (TA roles only)Experience working on trucks and/or busesSome exposure to light auto-electrical work would be advantageousA pro-active attitude with a drive to work efficientlyA positive safety attitude with a team-focused mindsetWhat's in it for you?We offer a solid package of compensation and benefits, plus you will enjoy:
