About the role
Hamilton Island's Engineering and Services, Vehicle Workshop team, are the engine that keeps the wheels turning for Hamilton Island's guests and staff, from golf buggies to light commercial vehicles.
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic to join our respected workshop team on Hamilton Island.
What you'll be doing
As a Mechanic on Hamilton Island, this role will join a great team working in our Vehicle Workshop, maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of 1200 vehicles and equipment to the highest standards.
Work with a close-knit and experienced teamDiagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a range of vehiclesPerform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance work to optimise the operational performance and longevity of our fleetMaintain detailed records of all work completed and spare parts usedAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentWhat we're looking for
You'll enjoy working in a team, have great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and enjoy your time off on a tropical island!
Trade-qualified MechanicDemonstrated expertise in diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of vehicles and equipmentCommitment to maintaining high safety and quality standardsCurrent Queensland driver's licenseWhite cardWhat we offer
