Our team in Gladstone is seeking an experienced Fleet Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic distribution team.
Your role will ensure our modern fleet of North American prime movers and pneumatic tankers, along with rail assets, is well-maintained, available, and operating safely.
With a fleet size of around 130 assets, this is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled, team-oriented professional with high technical capability.
About the role: In this role you will:
Maintain the fleet in line with Cement Australia's maintenance policy and relevant Australian standards.Complete repair and maintenance documentation accurately and promptly.Attend breakdowns and scheduled repairs with minimal downtime and cost.Keep the workshop clean and safe in accordance with our SHE standards.Communicate with the operations team to meet fleet availability targets.Manage spare parts inventory efficiently to reduce turnaround times.Participate in a rostered after-hours support team and perform overtime as needed.About you: Qualified Diesel Mechanic with experience maintaining premium prime movers and tankers.Previous experience with North American drivetrains and heavy vehicles.Ability to work autonomously, meet KPIs, and communicate effectively with drivers.Strong focus on safety and a positive team mindset.HC or MC licence is desirable but not essential.Why work for Cement Australia?
