instructionsSPECIFIC DUTIESPRE-DELIVERYConduct Pre-Delivery inspections and other tasks to ensure new products/equipment are working properly and safely before customer acceptanceComplete predelivery inspection documentation accurately and in fullConduct road / sea trails in accordance with technical, quality, and safety standards.Assist in demonstrating product features and functions to customers or other team members as requiredSERVICINGConduct scheduled services and tune ups in accordance with product and technical specificationsConduct services in a clean and efficient mannerComplete service records accurately, including job cards, service sheets, parts records, timesheets, or other documentation as requiredREPAIRS & MAINTENANCEPerform mechanical, electrical, and/or structural repairs and maintenance in accordance with relevant technical specifications and standardsRead and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards accuratelyPerform works safely and in an environmentally responsible mannerOverhaul and/or Rebuild Engines, Transmissions, Final Drives, and other Power Train equipment in accordance with manufacturer specificationsReturn customer asset/property in a clean and tidy condition, remove any oil, grease, hand marks, loose items, cable ties, drink containers, packets, paper, tools, or other debrisINSTALLATIONS & FIT OUTSInstall and fit out equipment in accordance with technical and manufacturer specifications and standardsFAULT FINDING & DIAGNOSESFault find, and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems accurately and thoroughlyUse and maintain diagnostic equipment correctly and in accordance with manufacturer specificationsGENERAL DUTIESConduct Trade skill activities safely and in accordance with technical and manufacturer specificationsComply with North Track QHSE Procedures, Site Rules and Safe Work InstructionsMaintain high housekeeping standards, cleanliness, tidiness, and work area organisationAssist others from time to time as workloads demandWork with management to improve workshop standards and efficiencyMonitor inventory items and report low stock levelsOperate company vehicles and equipment safely and in accordance with safety proceduresDO NOT OPERATE or use equipment you are not authorised toWORKSHOP DUTIESMaintain workshop facility in a clean and tidy state at all timesUse workshop equipment in a safe and responsible mannerReport workshop hazards and unsafe conditionsMonitor and report status of electrical equipment inspections, fire equipment inspections and general maintenance requirementsComply with company QHSE proceduresONSITE DUTIESHold and maintain current NT driver's licenceDrive and operate company vehicles in accordance with road rules and company proceduresConduct prestart inspections and report vehicle defectsComply with specified journey management plans and proceduresEnsure loads are packed and secured to avoid transport damage or loss of loadProduce ATTRIBUTESMANDATORY:Mechanical Trade qualification or similarC Class Drivers LicenceNT White CardAbility and attitude to work safe and cleanAbility to plan and prioritise work in an organised and methodical mannerGood administrative and paperwork skillsAbility to diagnose & repair faults and malfunctionsAbility to self-start and work with minimal supervisionReliable, punctual, and fit for dutyDESIRABLE:Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defence clearance and Port PassMinimum of 3 years' experience in the trade and in a similar roleMarine Industry experienceExperience in calibrated equipment and associated standardsAttention to detailNeat handwriting and correct spellingKnowledge of workshop processes and proceduresUnderstanding of preventative maintenance programsHave pride and passion in the rolePERFORMANCE REVIEWA review of your performance and compliance with these duties will be conducted periodically with your manager.If you have any issues
