About us Cars4us is Queenslands largest used car marketplace and EZ Prestige is our affiliated mechanical workshop. We sell 400+ cars per month across Australia.
Our fast-paced high volume mechanical workshop based in Eagle Farm, Brisbane is currently in its third year of operation and are growing rapidly with a team of 20 employees. We specialise in European cars but work on all makes and models, seeing roughly 800 cars per month come through the shed. Our shed in our new location is large and clean with top of the range equipment to get the best out of our team and in turn their work. We have a number of additional hoists and are seeking additional team members to join us. Tasks & Responsibilities Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution regulations Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Qualifications & Experience Relevant automotive mechanical qualifications (minimum Cert III preferred) Prior experience as a diagnostic technician Hold a current Australian Drivers license Essential Skills and Requirements Passion for your trade with the willingness to expand your knowledge. Be dependable, trustworthy, honest, enthusiastic, conscientious, punctual, presentable, and approachable. Diagnostic experience highly desirable. Demonstrate light vehicle repair, service and maintenance skills including a solid understanding of petrol, engines, suspension, transmission, steering and braking systems. Ability to read and interpret a broad range of vehicle service manuals. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a timely manner. Ability to prioritise workload to ensure customer and management deadlines are met. Excellent customer service skills including the ability to effectively and patiently communicate technical mechanical issues to a broad audience.
