We are looking for Welders. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION This role supports and assists production projects and requirements to ensure they meet the standards required and are within scope and specification. The role of the welder is to ensure a hands on, quality weld is performed across various products to produce outcomes for our clients. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES ? Follow welding procedures in line with standards. ? Minimize errors in welding by ensuring you complete your task to best practice. ? Seek opportunities for improvement of process. ? Question any discrepancies or unusual requirements in work required to ensure understanding. ? Continue to adhere to QA/QC procedures and requirements for compliance and safety. ? Ensure any record keeping is kept up to date and is accurate and legible. ? Ensure you perform quality checks of your own work to ensure a standard of completion. ? Follow any reasonable instructions given by your Leading Hand to support production. ? Read and interpret drawings for work design and process. Knowledge of best site practices and safety procedures. SKILLS & ABILITIES ? Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills. ? Able to work in a team and independently. ? Strong commitment to safety principals. ? Detail oriented, able to work and make critical decisions under pressure. ? Being physically fit to perform heavy tasks.
