Meat Production - Skilled Workers

Programmed are currently looking for skilled Machine Operators & Knife hands for a large meat processing site located in Heathwood. QLD. The Role: Operation of various food production machines including but not limited to Band Saw, Cruster, Grinder, Graselli etc Using a knife trim fat off meat and or portioning the meat from the bone Working in food production environment handling raw meat products such as pork, lamb & beef Manual handling where required Quality Assurance General Hygiene / cleaning processes AM & PM Shift on offer - 12 hour shifts for AM, 8 hours shifts for PM Complete onsite uniform including boots, provided Onsite parking and onsite canteen for your convenience Full training provided What are we looking for? Previous experience in an food manufacturing environment is required Proven experience operating machinery or working on the production line Previous experience as a knife hand or similar role Ability to fault find Willing to work within a cold room environment - 7 degrees Willing to work with raw meat products (beef, lamb & pork) Must have excellent literacy and numeracy skills Ability to work within a team-based environment Ability to provide proof of working rights in Australia If you think you are suitable for this role please apply by clicking 'Apply Now'.
