About the role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Project Manager with previous experience within the aluminium architectural industry.
As a specialist in this area, you will lead and deliver a variety of facade elements including balcony balustrade, aluminium work and screens.

Responsibilities:
Provide input during the design phase to ensure façade systems meet standards, budgets, and client requirements.
Develop strong industry relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors for optimal commercial outcomes.
Lead, mentor, and manage a diverse project team and oversee the installation on site while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Ensure clear communication of time frames to internal stakeholders.
Collaborate with project teams to leverage subcontractor relationships and obtain competitive pricing while delivering quality outcomes.
Inspect installations both locally and internationally to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Weekly travel to local sites is required and some overseas travel from time to time may be required.
Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Conduct project reviews, prepare reports, and manage financial aspects, including invoicing and progress claims.
Coordinate with drafting teams and structural engineers for installation phasing plans.
Prioritise quality in all aspects of work, ensuring the delivery of defect-free products that exceed client expectations.
Provide expert feedback on design elements and support the McNab Design Managers.
Ensure designs are coordinated, fit for purpose, and compliant with contractual obligations.
Understand client needs and develop specialised solutions aligned with their success factors.
Manage time effectively to meet deadlines and avoid rushed outcomes.
About you:
5+ years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
Proven experience in construction systems, contractor selection, and project management.
Demonstrated leadership in field construction and management of concurrent projects.
Sound knowledge of statutory regulations and the Codes.
Excellent communication, reporting, and customer service skills.
Intermediate MS Office skills, Construction White Card, and a valid driver's license.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
OR Trade qualification in a commercial construction trade.
Proven commercial acumen and strategic thinking ability.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and facilitation skills.
