Mcnab | Design Coordinator

McNab have a rare opportunity for an experienced Design Coordinator to join our Design team based in Brisbane.
In this role, you will assist with the overall coordination and management of the design process whilst building and maintaining professional client and subcontractor relationships.

Day to day you will:
Assist in the planning of the design process and successfully coordinate internal and external project related parties.
Assist the estimating team in the preparation of scopes and detailed design proposals for D&C projects.
Provide regular updates and track progress of project design and documentation.
Assist in the coordination of the design process and ensure compliance with budget, programmes, Approvals, Building Code of Australia (BCA)/ and other legislative requirements and clients requirements.
Contribute to the effective control and administration of documentation from all parties (authorities, client, tenants, subcontractors etc.)
Support project teams through assisting with clarification of any project design and construction issues.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Hold tertiary qualifications in Design or Construction coupled with proven experience working in a similar role within the construction industry.
Be agile – we are a fast-moving business with changing priorities.
Possess good commercial and technical awareness.
Have strong communication skills with an ability to build relationships at all levels of the business.
Act decisively with an ability to problem solve.
