Could you be our next Head of Development (Property)? With new restaurant openings driving significant growth in the Australian market each year, our National Development Group is at the heart of McDonald's expansion strategy. We're dedicated to ensuring profitable growth through strategic property investment, development, and management of our construction and asset portfolio. Based in our Collingwood Office, you'll have the unique opportunity to lead our real estate development efforts in the South West region. As Head of Development, you'll be responsible for providing strategic direction and guidance to our team, driving business success, and maximizing the value of our property portfolio.
What can you expect on a day-to-day basis? Providing strategic direction for property acquisition, market analysis, and complex property management issues Managing department workload and allocation to ensure regional goals are met Championing innovation projects to enhance customer experiences and financial returns Collaborating with stakeholders to maximise value and return on existing assets Ensuring efficient execution of asset management tasks and maintaining strong regional relationships Reporting regularly to senior leadership, acting as the primary liaison in the SA, WA and TAS markets Overseeing licensee communications and resolving queries effectively Your keys to success: Bachelor's Degree in Property Economics or a related field. Proven history in asset management and site development, ideally within retail or hospitality sectors Expertise in commercial property portfolio strategy, including investment, development, and disposals Deep understanding of the Australian and (VIC, WA, SA & TAS) property market Exceptional leadership skills and stakeholder management abilities Ability to inspire and influence business owners, including franchisees and small businesses Relish in the Macca's difference when you join the Golden Arches: Competitive Remuneration Package.
