Could you be our next Head of Construction (North-East)?
Given the significant number of new restaurants and reinvestment projects planned for years to come, Macca's is on the lookout for a Head of Construction to shake things up and make their mark on the largest Quick Service Restaurant in Australia!
In this role, you will lead the management and deliverables of the regional construction team with oversight of delivery across the QLD, NSW and ACT markets.
With our Chief Development Officer Skye Baker leading our Construction & Development teams, now is the perfect time to join the business and help us achieve our ambitious growth goals in running great restaurants.

What can you expect on a day-to-day basis?

Leading regional construction teams to execute the New Restaurant Growth Plan and Reinvestment Plan.
Managing a team of project managers in delivering best in class designs and built restaurants.
Collaborating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders to guide the design directions of McDonald's restaurants and customer experience.
Overseeing the development and delivery of master design documentation for restaurants Australia-wide.
Exercising expertise in construction cost analysis, evaluation of consultant and building costs, local and offshore procurement, and product development.
Managing and influencing key external partners and contacts at a management level including developers, councils, and landlords.
Developing people talent through leadership, performance evaluation and professional development mentoring.
Your keys to success: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction or relevant discipline.
Minimum 5 years practical experience in architectural/design or construction industry at a management level.
Extensive construction project management experience.
Strong knowledge of project management and document management systems such as MS Project, Egnyte etc.
Extensive knowledge of building materials, construction methods and construction contracts.
Sound working knowledge of managing consultants including; architectural, engineering, interiors, builders, acoustic, landscape and quantity surveyors.
Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
Excellent stakeholder management capability.
Strong network of construction and design professionals nationally.
Experience working in a multifaceted business environment contributing to strong business results and growth.
