What does the job look like? Linfox is currently seeking dedicated MC truck drivers with B double experience for our permanent positions based in Chullora NSW. As part of this role you will be departing from our Chullora depot, driving changeover routes to Kempsey/Tarcutta and back, conquering thousands of kilometres weekly! Navigating these routes, you will have the chance to work with our safety conscious team, whilst driving our state-of-the-art fleet. If you're a skilled and dependable MC truck driver seeking an enriching opportunity, this position is crafted just for you. We have a number of start times and rosters available from 6pm onwards working Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday. Key areas:
Driving to the commitment of Linfox Safety Standards at all timesEnsuring that Vision Zero is a daily focusComplying with the Linfox coupling & uncoupling proceduresDaily prestart checks and ensure loads are restrained appropriatelyFatigue management in line with BFM guidelinesStrong understanding of Chain of Responsibility principles and extensive knowledge of road transport legislationAre you the one? Prior transport experience driving B double combinations is preferredAbility to manage fatigue – BFM required or willing to obtainKnowledge of major Australian cities and/or interstate road networksFamiliarity with fundamental manual handling protocolsStrong work ethic, customer service and communication skillsAt Linfox, we are passionate about creating an inclusive workplace where people can perform at their best.
