As part of the Outsourcing Finance division, we pride ourselves on providing outstanding services to mostly international clients across a diverse range of industries. The division provides an outsourced finance function to enable clients to focus on the business of growing their companies with the peace of mind they will have accurate and timely information to make key business decisions.
Client-facing role as the day-to-day contact point for the client Responsibility for accounts payable, bank reconciliations and other processing Preparation of the month-end close process Preparation of the monthly/quarterly management accounts including reporting pack Cash flow management and processing of supplier payment runs Preparation of payroll tax and workers compensation reconciliations Preparation and lodgement of monthly/quarterly business and instalment activity statements Utilising cloud technology to drive process improvements both internally and externally Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff Communicate with clients and colleagues Progress towards providing advisory services to key business stakeholders About you: 3 - 6 years' experience working in an accounting role within Australia Completed a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) Ability to work to tight time schedules Experience with Xero, Netsuite or other cloud accounting software would be beneficial Strong numerical and IT skills Sound Microsoft Excel skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills Willingness to learn Why Forvis Mazars?
