We require a passionate Mathematics Teacher for a full-time ongoing position.
We are looking for candidates with an outstanding ability to teach Mathematics across our Middle and Senior Schools, particularly those with innovative and engaging approaches to teaching the Year 11 and 12 Atar Mathematics courses.
Selection Criteria Lesson Planning and Delivery: Demonstrated ability to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and rigorous Maths courses according to WA Curriculum guidelines that are tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all students.
A clear understanding of current pedagogical approaches and practises is expected.
Competency in SEQTA and Microsoft 365 is highly desirable.Classroom Management: Proven experience in maintaining an organised, positive, and stimulating classroom environment that fosters learning and student engagement.Marking and Assessment: Commitment to timely and accurate completion of all marking and assessment tasks, reflecting an understanding of SCSA Achievement Standards and the value of targeted feedback.Role Modelling and Cultural Promotion: Ability to serve as a positive role model by promoting the School's values, fostering a respectful and inclusive culture, and upholding professional conduct.Resource Development and Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in developing innovative teaching resources and willingness to collaborate with fellow staff members in sharing and implementing best practices.Professional Development and Engagement: Commitment to ongoing professional development, active participation in cocurricular activities, and eagerness to contribute to the broader school community.Communication, Organisational, and Interpersonal Skills: Strong skills in these areas, reflecting an ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff, manage time and responsibilities, and foster positive relationships within the school community.Anglican Ethos and Child-safe School guidelines: all staff are expected to support the Anglican ethos of the School and behave in a way that follows our Child-safe School guidelines.Our ideal candidates will demonstrate: Intellectual strength.Professional integrity and a passion for education.Positive support for the Anglican faith.Understanding of key educational issues.
