A vacancy has arisen for a teacher of Secondary Mathematics.Selection CriteriaThe successful applicant must:· be a practising Christian, active in a church and subscribe to the Statement of Faith;· demonstrate an understanding of and an ability to teach from a Christian perspective;· have strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;· have extensive knowledge of the 7-12 Mathematics curriculum;· demonstrate an ability to cater for the full range of learners, have high expectations of students and integrate ICT into teaching;· be able to understand and use data to inform planning and implement assessment for learning principles; and· be willing to contribute to the College's co-curricular program.Application ProcedureApplicants must complete and submit:· an Application for Employment and· a separate CV in which the applicant addresses the above selection criteria.The successful applicant must satisfy NSW Working with Children and NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) teacher employability requirements and be eligible to work in Australia.MidCoast Christian College is committed to providing a safe environment for our students through the implementation of the Child Safe Standards.Applications should be addressed to the Principal, Mr David Coleman, and close at 9:00am on Monday 7th October 2024.
