About ACC Singleton Australian Christian College (ACC) is a protestant non-denominational, Christian Education organisation, whose mission is to develop each and every student to be equipped spiritually, academically, socially and physically to flourish into their full potential, and be a positive influence on the world around them. ACC Singleton (ACCS) is located in the beautiful Hunter Valley region of New South Wales. Offering programs from Prep to Year 12, ACCS has been operating for over 12 years. The College has experienced considerable growth in student numbers and improvement in student learning results in recent years. During 2025 work will commence on a new 18 classroom building that will help accommodate the growth in student numbers from 420 to 600 students over the next 5 years. About the role We are seeking applications from qualified Mathematics teachers who are enthusiastic, have solid interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to helping students enjoy the study of Mathematics. Successful candidates will join a competent, supportive and fun secondary teaching team. As our school grows there are considerable opportunities for teachers to contribute to school improvement initiatives. This full-time position will commence in January 2025. About You Be able to display the capacity to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes. Be able to demonstrate excellent teaching as described by the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers. Be able to receive feedback on your teaching and implement changes. Be able to effectively plan for, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies and interventions to improve student outcomes. Have an active Christian faith, suitable tertiary qualifications and NESA accreditation (or be eligible). Hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
