Position Title: Maternal Child Health Nurse

Salary per hour (exc. super): $60.39 + super and salary packaging
Hours per fortnight: Up to 80 hours

The Role The Maternal and Child Health Nurse (MCHN) oversees and delivers high quality person-centred care, assessment and education to families in the Loddon Mallee region based on the EPC's model of care and provides advice to staff and families. MCHNs bring foundational knowledge and skills to the design and delivery of clinical programs that improve the parent-child relationship and support families to achieve their parenting goals. MCHNs promote maternal health, wellbeing and development of infants and children.
The MCHN works competently within their scope of practice to deliver safe, evidence-based patient centred care. As part of the nurse led multidisciplinary team, the MCHN will work across all EPC parenting programs at Bendigo Health as required. They may be required to perform an in-charge role in the absence of an ANUM.
The position has a strong focus on family/patient centred care and the MCHN will demonstrate this value along with an ability to work within organisational values.
