Moec Pty Ltd is a growing construction contractor that offers pipeline construction and gas gathering services to our clients in the Mining and Oil & Gas Industries in the Surat and Bowen Basin and other sites across Australia.

We are looking for qualified Materials Coordinator with Gas Gathering, Piping, or Buried Services Experience to work on our HDPE Gas Gathering Project in the Surat Basin.
Potentially 2-3 years of consistent work.
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting our on-site project crew with but not limited to:
Key responsibilities of the role include responsible for all Materials from expediting to delivery to Construction point of install on Site. Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Oversee the receipt of all materials, including purchased and free-issue items on site. Manage the storage and warehousing of materials to maintain order, preservation, and accessibility. Ensure all materials are tracked and traceable throughout their lifecycle. Implement and manage preservation practices to protect material integrity. Conduct quality inspections of materials to meet required standards. Organise and batch materials by work pack for efficient use. Manage unloading, loading, and overall logistics on site to support smooth operations. Provide regular updates and progress reports. Maintain effective communication and collaboration with client representatives to address any material-related concerns.
What you will bring Demonstrated experience with Databases, preferably materials management databases. Proven experience in materials management in the resources sector. Strong organisational and logistical skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members. Work with inspectors to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Additional Responsibilities:
To be successful, you'll need:
Technical Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in materials handling or a related field. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Excellent project management, planning, and scheduling skills. Soft Skills:
Effective communication, interpersonal skills. Proficient in construction documentation and recordkeeping practices. Strong commitment to safety and ability to enforce safe work practices on the job site. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think ahead to anticipate and address potential challenges. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and contract management software. Experience in the Mining or Gas Gathering sector. Additional requirements:
A current driver's license and white card Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures Availability to start work in the next 2-4 weeks and pass a pre-employment medical.
